What are you trying to sell? Every business is in business to sell something. This could be a service or a solid product. Let me rephrase that,.. every business is in the business to make money. That is what it boils down to. If a business doesn't make money there is no point in doing business.
Ok so you got your business up and running. Your product/service is solid and a good deal. So what now? How do I bring this business to the forefront of the buying public? Well now it is time to advertise. But will you be advertising your product or your business. 99% of all companies have competition, this means 99% of business have competitors that sell the EXACT same product you do. So why do consumers pick one company over another? Well price is one thing. I personally go for price but I'm a cheap guy. Most of your consumers don't mind paying what a product is worth. Most of the consumers buy the business not the product.
This is where we are going,.. sell your company not your product. Advertise your company. Every other business thats sells the same product is going to be advertising this product the same as you are. What you want to do is advertise your business. What I mean with this is let your customers know that you do sell this product. But that is not the most important thing. Why would they buy this product from you? Explain to your customer why your business is different. Explain why if they buy the product from you they would be more satisfied then with your competitor.
Also sell your logo and brand your company. Let your customers know that when they see your logo they know that they are getting quality, support and a great product.
